The Departmental Library for Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry (PMC) combines the collections of a total of seven former faculty libraries from Faculties 08 and 09, supplemented with works from the Central Library.

Collections and facilities

At present, the PMC Departmental Library contains about 72,000 monographs (most of which can be borrowed), which are systematically arranged according to the Regensburg classification system.

In addition to the collection of monographs, the PMC also includes about 70,500 journal volumes from the departments mentioned above, supplemented by works from the Central Library, a journal display rack with 218 current print journals and access to another extensive selection of electronic journals and databases.
